Apply for Further Education and vocational courses

If you've decided which course you'd like to apply for, you can download an application form and post it FREE to:
Newcastle College, FREEPOST NT920, Rye Hill Campus, Scotswood Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 5BR.

Once we've received your application form, we'll contact you to let you know what happens next. If you can/want to enrol directly to this course we will contact you to do this. Apply for full-time Higher Education courses

To apply for our full-time Higher Education courses, you will need to apply electronically using the web-based online application system at www.ucas.com

If you are at school or college, staff there will be able to help you with the online application process.

When you apply, you will need the UCAS code for your chosen course (See the course listing in the prospectus or information sheet). You will also need Newcastle College's institution name and code. The institution name is NCAST. The institution code is N23.

Apply for part-time Higher Education courses

Apply Online: To quickest way to get your application in is to use our online application form; or call 0191 200 4000, speak to one of our friendly advisers; or request an application form in person from our Rye Hill Campus; or if you are unable to enrol in person or by telephone and do not wish to use our online application form you can download a copy from the top of this page and post it back to us.

If you're not sure which course or subject to choose and would like more general advice, you can speak to one of our student advisers. Identification

The Learner Records Service requires learners to verify their identity at enrolment, therefore when enrolling for your course you will need to bring original copies of one of the following documents with you. If you enrol over the phone, you will be required to bring this identification with you to collect your ID card before you start your course.

  • Passport
  • Photo driving licence
  • Armed Forces service ID
  • National Insurance Card
  • Certificate of Entitlement to Funding
  • Bank Credit/Debit Card
  • Your Newcastle College Student ID Card
